One new thing which I have read about in this week is that labor unions are allowed to be started, operated and functioned as per the teachings of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Social Teaching provides laborers and employers with new insights as to how they can work together in harmony and maintain peace in their professional relationships (http://bbfiles.msj.edu/JCG255/Articles/JCG255_WK4/Labor_Unions_Fahey.pdf). I think that I can also become vulnerable if I am a part of a labor union and I do not try to follow the Catholic Social Teaching guidelines about maintaining peaceful professional and personal relations with my employer.
